Second thoughts on Tubey

As the problem with my tubey primarily was that it was too big, I'm now considering felting it a little. Will I dare? To be continued...

Hmm... that could help, but:
a- it may shrink more in length than in diameter
b- you'll lose elasticity (which may be a good thing)
c- in my (limited) experience, I find that felted fabrics are scratchier, so it may not be comfortable to wear against the skin
d- light colors (like yellows) don't always felt at the same rate as darker colors.
e- you can't unfelt the yarn

If you have any yarn scraps, you might want to knit a striped swatch with all your colors, felt it, and see how the finished fabric feels, and how the dimensions change. If everything adds up, go for it! Keep us posted on how it works out.

Thanks for the tips! There's another Norwegian who felted hers a bit, and she's used the same yarn as I did, I've gotten some advice from her as well.
